What are the requirements for driving a van?

Have held a B1 driving license for more than 2 years and be over 25 years of age.

Can we smoke inside the van?

No. This is strictly forbidden and will result in sanctions in accordance with the provisions of the additional clauses.

Can I take my pet with me in the van?

Yes, your pet can travel with you. It will only have a small supplement so that it can also enjoy the trip with you.

What type of insurance does the van have?

Our vans come with comprehensive insurance with a €900 deductible and 24-hour roadside assistance throughout Europe.

What equipment is included with the van rental?

We rent our vans equipped with :

  • Cutlery for 4 people
  • Kitchen utensils
  • Cleaning kit
  • 2 gas bottles
  • Electric cable with adapter
  • Extensible hose with different nozzles
  • Spare lamp
  • Anti-puncture kit

Is the van delivered clean? How do I return it?

Yes. We deliver our vans completely clean and disinfected. The fuel and clean water tanks are filled, while the gray and black water tanks are emptied.

You must return the vehicle in a similar state of cleanliness to that in which you picked it up, with the fuel tanks at the same level.

Failure to comply with any of these requirements will result in the application of a penalty, in accordance with the terms and conditions defined in the addenda.

If you’d prefer to make the most of it right up to the last minute, you can call in an interior and/or exterior cleaning service.

How do I clean the van?

The vehicle must always be cleaned by hand, i.e. with a pressure hose.

It is TOTALLY FORBIDDEN to wash the van in a car wash. Damage will probably be caused, for which you will be held responsible.

As far as the interior is concerned, it is forbidden to use abrasive cleaning products. Normally, soap and water are fine.

What time should I pick up and return the vehicle?

You can collect the van from 9:00 am on the day of departure and you have until 7:00 pm on the day of return to return it.

Can the van be driven by a person not named in the contract?

Yes, provided you meet the required conditions (over 25 years of age and have held a B1 driving license for more than 2 years).

In any case, it’s a good idea to specify this in the contract, as it’s free of charge and avoids any inconvenience.

Can I leave Spain with the van?

Of course. You can travel freely within the EU, but we always advise you to inform us of any changes to your contract, to avoid any misunderstandings with the insurance company in the event of a claim.

If you plan to travel outside the European Union, please contact us to request authorization from the insurance company.

Where can I spend the night?

You can stay overnight in any area where this is not explicitly forbidden.

In addition to campsites, more and more communes have areas set aside for this purpose.

Some apps will help you find fantastic places to spend the night.

What's the difference between parking and camping?

If the van is parked, it must comply with traffic regulations just like any other vehicle. In this case, nothing may protrude beyond the vehicle’s boundaries, including awnings, windows, tables, etc.

If you open the folding side windows, extend the awning, set up the table and chairs, or pour liquids, this will be considered camping, and may only be carried out in designated areas, such as motorhome parks, campsites, etc.

What happens to my initial payment if I can't travel because of COVID-19?

WE’LL PAY YOU BACK.

If your departure date is approaching and you are unable to travel due to COVID-19, we will refund you in full or change the dates of your booking.

How do I confirm a reservation?

To ensure that the dates you are interested in are reserved exclusively for you, we ask you to confirm your booking by making an initial payment of 50% of the total amount.

The remaining 50% must be paid 15 days before departure.

If the booking is not paid 15 days before departure, the booking will be cancelled and the hirer will not be entitled to any refund (except in cases of force majeure).

Can I cancel a reservation?

Our cancellation policy is the following :

  • If the reservation is cancelled more than 30 days in advance, 80% of the rental fee will be refunded.
  • If the reservation is cancelled less than 30 days in advance, no refund will be made.
  • If the booking has to be cancelled due to COVID-19, we offer you the possibility of retaining the rental amount for future dates when travel is possible, or of a full refund of the amount you have paid.

Is there a minimum rental period?

Yes. Yes, as a general rule, the minimum duration is 3 days, but it varies according to the season.

What payment methods are available?

You can pay by card, bank transfer or Bizum

How much is the deposit? How do I pay it?

The deposit is 900€.

A bank transfer is required to pay the deposit.

When will the deposit be returned to me?

Upon return of the vehicle, an initial visual check is carried out, followed by a more detailed inspection the next day.

If everything is in order, we will reimburse you within 48 hours.
